On Christmas Eve afternoon the Latvian flagged Ceg Universe returned from Birkenhead to load another cargo of round timber.
Some late sunshine was ideal for photography, but conditions were more challenging for the Pilot, with strong wind and a heavy swell to contend with.
A short time later Ceg Universe was secured alongside the North Quay, and the crew were to spend Christmas in Wicklow port.
Ceg Universe loaded out the cargo of round timber on Saturday 27th December and departed early the following morning for Birkenhead.
