Cement carrier Ronez

The 43-year-old Ronez southbound in Wicklow Bay on Saturday 1st November 2025. The small coaster is a regular sight in Wicklow Bay, as it makes frequent calls at Dublin Port, to load out cement for the Channel Islands.

The cement imported by Ronez Ltd is transferred to 2500 tonnes silo terminals, and used to manufacture a range of dense, lightweight, and high strength concrete blocks along with precast kerbs, edgings, and paving products. These are used in a variety of projects from single storey housing to multi-storey developments and commercial buildings on the Channel Islands. (Source: https://www.ronez.com

Ronez is a self-pneumatic discharging vessel and was built in 1982 at Konstruktiebedrijf Van Aalst Koudekerk in Holland. She carries approx. 950 tonnes of cement and is registered under the UK flag.
