The latest coaster caller at Wicklow Port was Wilson Durness, arriving from Avonmouth late on the evening of Wednesday evening 24th September, docking on arrival at the Packet pier to load out recyclable metals. Loading was completed on Friday afternoon and she departed, heading south for the Portuguese port of Setubal.
Wilson Durness was built in 2008 by Slovenske Lodenice, Komaro, as the Pollux. She took her present name in 2020 after being acquired by Wilson Shipping.
As MV Pollux, she called in August 2017 to load out a cargo of glass cullet for Liverpool.
The photograph was taken with my Canon 450D camera and shot in RAW format.
