Wicklow Maritime first went online wayback in 2003, using Microsoft Front Page software, before moving onto Dreamweaver and today with WordPress. The website has showcased Wicklow’s rich maritime heritage to a worldwide audience throughout the years.
Tommy Dover has been a lifelong maritime enthusiast and an amateur photographer since the mid-1980s. Starting off with 35mm film and progressing into digital photography. His photographs have appeared in many marine publications including Seabreezes and Coastal Shipping.
Tommy is self-taught in HTML, which he began learning through the excellent and aptly titled book ‘Frontpage for Dummies’. When not photographing ships, he listens to Iron Maiden and is volunteer Press officer with Wicklow RNLI Lifeboat Station.
Max enjoys long walks out to Wicklow Head, his favourite pastimes are chasing tennis balls around the Castle and sleeping.
