CEG COSMOS motored into the harbour shortly after 7pm . She is the first ship in a few years to discharge at the North Quay. l enjoy the challenge of night photography and very pleased with the images.

The 120 metre Dutch flagged ARKLOW BRAVE southbound off Wicklow harbour for Leixoes in Spain on Friday afternoon.
The Polish RABA is a regular sight in the bay , she delivers Scottish round timber to various ports including Rosslare and Youghal and on some occasions in the past , Arklow. She was noted heading for Poland after discharging this cargo at Youghal a few days later, possibly for her annual drydocking at Szczecin. Any further information welcome. Her replacement on the run was the Dutch AMEDEUS GOLD.

HMS PORTLAND a Royal Navy Type 23 Frigate was noted in the bay on Monday morning. She had sailed from Dublin port earlier, after a weekend courtesy visit. The photograph is not the best as l was not in a position to get a clear view. The ship approached the harbour before heading out to sea. l believe she was on a navigational excercise , but l am open for correction.

SCOT ISLES returned early on Friday morning from Sandbank in Scotland with a full caro of round timber. The cargo was quickly offloaded and she sailed later the same evening northbound for Corpach.

The Irish Ferries chartered EPSILON heading south on Saturday afternoon , on her regular weekend run to Cherbourg. Durring the week she operates between Dublin and Holyhead.
The Dutch TINA arrived on Friday morning to discharge a part cargo of Crown timber. She sailed early the next morning southbound for Chatham.
